Introduction & Source

It is helpful to have a clear understanding of all of the properties owned by Family #2 (the Whatcom Catholic Churches), and the best way to obtain such a list is by using the Whatcom County Real Property Search website. Because the Archdiocese of Seattle is a Corporation Sole, nearly every piece of Catholic property is owned by “The Corporation of the Catholic Archbishop of Seattle”, so simply searching “Catholic” under “Owner” pulls up a comprehensive list. Note that this list excludes those properties owned by Catholic Community Services.

Note also that I found at least one property (the Sacred Heart parking lot) which did not show up in the search because it is registered under the parish name, rather than the Corporate name. If you know of another property that might not have shown up on the list, please let me know!
